This is a great visual animation that explains how we can solve many U.S. and World problems by redistributing the Federal budget a little.

Ben Cohen is a co-creator of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream but is working with True Majority to help make a difference. Could the same guy who gives us some of the World’s best ice cream also help solve some of the World’s larger problems? It would seem so.

His creative animated video touches on World hunger, poverty, education, alternative energy and presents a simple approach to solving some serious world issues that seem to get all but lost in the midst of war. He presents his view with amazing simplicity.

Hillary and Bill Clinton, as reported in the current edition of Time, on the real dangers of electing a Democratic President other than Hillary:

“Both Clintons have made the case to potential fund raisers that the U.S. will probably suffer a terrorist attack on the scale of 9/11 after the next President is sworn in — and that Hillary is the only Democratic candidate capable of handling such a crisis because of her Senate Armed Services Committee tenure and her years in the White House.”

One of the candidates in the 08′ presidential debate was actually speaking the Truth for a change.

Hunter S. Thompson was one of the most interesting writers in the 20th century and looked at things from a unique angle. He often confronted controversies head-on when most men would stand down.

At the end of his life, he may have known he was in dangerous territory. H. S. Thompson cautiously discusses his views on 911 some time before his supposed Suicide in 2005. Thompson was writing a story about the World Trade Center attacks. He felt he had hard evidence to prove that the towers were brought down by controlled demolition.

Reports of his suicide appear contradictory and peculiar, to say the least…

Is it impossible for the United States to “win” the war with a middle-east country like Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran or Pakistan?
