+ + What really happened at the SPP summit… (Security and Prosperity Partnership)

If you haven’t heard, this week’s Security and Prosperity
Partnership summit in Canada was cut short — ending a
day earlier than planned.

In fact, you could say the three heads of state couldn’t
get out of town fast enough!

While I do not doubt Mexican President Calderon’s need
to get back to Mexico due to the hurricane, it seems all
three were glad to get out of the pressure cooker of
this SPP summit!

In fact, each went out of his way to downplay the SPP
and almost belittle their own multi-year effort to build
a “North American Framework.” Canada’s Prime Minister Harper
essentially said all this effort was about nothing more
than standardizing the jelly bean! Here’s Harper:

“The rules for jelly bean contents are different in Canada
and the United States… Is the sovereignty of Canada
going to fall apart if we standardize the jelly bean?
I don’t think so.”

(Mexico’s Calderon added that it was about “parameters for
chocolates.”)

Of course, President Bush took the opportunity to take pot
shots at citizens like you and me who are questioning the
SPP. He said he was “amused by some of the speculation”
and dismissed it as “political scare tactics” centered on
“conspiracy” theories.

Mr. President, for the record, 168,150 Grassfire team members
who signed our petition are simply calling for full disclosure
on the SPP’s action items and accountability to Congress
and the American people.

James, there’s a reason they couldn’t get out of
town quick enough and the answer is found in Jerome Corsi’s book.

His book uncovers the deceptions and connects the dots
between the SPP, amnesty and the open borders agenda.

As I field interviews daily on this topic, I am constantly

Let’s face it — the only thing that will slow down the SPP’s
march to a “North American Framework” is an informed electorate.

That’s why Bush, Harper and Calderon couldn’t get out of
town fast enough. They felt the pressure from grassroots
citizens! They were well aware of the protests taking
place in Canada and the fact that we gathered and presented
over 150,000 petitions in just over a week.

BEIJING, - China is still freeing people - including children - forced to work as slaves in illegal brick factories, two months after the scandal involving the brick yards was exposed, officials said Monday.

The scandal erupted in early June after children as young as 8 were abducted or recruited from bus and train stations with false promises of well-paying jobs and sold to kilns for about $65.

“Another 359 slave migrant workers have been rescued in Shanxi since late June, including 15 child workers and 121 mentally handicapped ones,” said Xue Yanzhong, executive vice governor of Shanxi province.

Not bad for a candidate thats never been there before and considering that 14,203 ballots were cast in this event. It becomes even more interesting when you consider that Democratic hopefuls like Obama polled better then Republican John McCain.

Lets not forget that Romney spent 4 million dollars and several hundred rabbit pelts on this event. Did I mention there was a Voting Machine Malfunction that delayed the voting while they recounted 4500 ballots?

Results:

1. Mitt Romney with 4516 votes, or 31%.
2. Mike Huckabee with 2587 votes at 18.1%
3. Sam Brownback with 2192 votes and 15.3%
4. Tom Tancredo with 1961 votes, 13.7%.
5. Ron Paul with 1305 votes, and 9.1%.
6. Tommy Thompson with 1,039 votes, 7.3%
7. Fred Thompson with 203 votes.
8. Rudy Guiliani with 183 votes.
9. Duncan Hunter with 174 votes.
10. John McCain with 101 votes.
11. John Cox with 41 votes (total number of family members).

This Bush family story begins with Prescott - George W’s grandfather - and his time as a student at prestigious Yale University. Here he was a member of an elite, secret society known as “Skull and Bones” which has included amongst it’s members, 3 U.S. Presidents, senators, many leaders in the financial world and even those who have gone on to work for the CIA. A few years ago a movie called SKULLS—which seemed to draw its initial inspiration from Skull and Bones was shown in some theaters around the United States . According to the 1998 edition of SHARING THE PIE: A CITIZEN’S GUIDE TO WEALTH AND POWER IN AMERICA by Steve Brouwer:

“Skull and Bones is a small, secret society of Yale University. During the late nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century it was home to many rich, white Anglo-Saxon Protestant young men who went on to run the country, including William Howard Taft, Republican president from 1908 to 1912; Averell Harriman, the leading financier of the Democratic Party from 1932 to 1992; Prescott Bush, the manager of Harriman’s bank, Republican senator, and father of George Bush; and George Bush, Republican president from 1988 to 1992 [and the father of the current U.S. president, George W. Bush]. The list could be filled out with the names of scores of very influential Americans–for example, Henry Stimson, Republican financier and two-time secretary of war, and Henry Luce, the nation’s leading publisher (TIME, LIFE, FORTUNE, etc.).”

“In the first half of the twentieth century, George Bush’s father and his generation of Bonesmen were intimately involved in maintaining family wealth, looking after the welfare of America’s largest banks and corporations, running the affairs of both political parties, and directing U.S. foreign and domestic policies.”

The 1990 book TELEVISION AND THE CRISIS OF DEMOCRACY by Douglas Kellner also observed that Prescott had connections with the intelligence service, was involved in the secret investment bank…and, like his son, was a member of the secret Skull and Bones society at Yale…”

Prescott and his S&B brothers were also known for more macabre activities.

According to the book SECRETS OF THE TOMB by Alexandra Robbins:
“This society also encourages grave robbing: deep within the bowels of the tomb are the stolen skulls of the Apache Chief Geronimo, Pancho Villa, and former President Martin van Buren.”

These skulls are known to be used during the initiation activities of Skull and Bones. Despite the pleas from Geronimo’s heirs to George W. to have DNA tests conducted on the remains in the S&B society “tomb” at Yale, nothing has been done to correct this act from a bunch of spoiled, rich, power-hungry elitists.

Skull and Bones had been founded in 1832 by Yale student William H. Russell who’s family owned Russell and Company, an opium empire. William endowed S&B with a considerable fortune, managed by his family’s Russell Trust Association. The clubhouse (”tomb”) at Yale with private helicopter pad were provided and the Russell Trust also owns a summer house on Deer Island, a rustic retreat in the Thousand Islands region of upstate New York. The Russell Trust also reportedly had a special fund from which any Bonesman could withdraw up to $15,000 in a lifetime for any purpose. The impact of Russell/S&B is going strong.

“The influence of the cabal begins at Yale, where Skull and Bones has appropriated university funds for its own use, leaving the school virtually impoverished. Skull and Bones. corporate shell, the Russell Trust Association, owns nearly all of the university’s real estate, as well as most of the land in Connecticut. Skull and Bones has controlled Yale’s faculty and campus publications so that students cannot speak openly about the secret society. “Year by year,” the campus’ only anti-society publication stated during its brief tenure in 1873, “the deadly evil is growing.”

“This purpose behind S&B’s has driven Bonesmen to ascend to the top levels of so many fields that, as one historian observes, “at any one time The Order can call on members in any area of American society to do what has to be done.” Several Bonesmen have been senators, congressmen, Supreme Court justices, and cabinet officials. There is a Bones cell in the CIA, which uses Skull and Bones as a recruiting ground because the members are so obviously adept at keeping secrets. Society members dominate financial institutions such as J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, and Brown Brothers Harriman, where at one time more than a third of the partners were Bonesmen. Through these companies, Skull and Bones provided financial backing to Adolf Hitler because the society then followed a Nazi - and now follows a neo-Nazi - doctrine. At least one dozen Bonesmen have been linked to the Federal Reserve, including the first Chairman of the New York Federal Reserve. Skull and Bones members control the wealth of the Rockefeller, Carnegie, and Ford families.”

“Skull and Bones, particularly in recent years, has managed to pervade both popular and political culture. Recent examples - In the 1992 race for the Republican presidential nomination, Pat Buchanan accused President George Bush of running “a Skull and Bones presidency.” In 1993, during Jeb Bush’s Florida gubernatorial campaign, one of his constituents asked him, “You’re familiar with the Skull and Crossbones Society?” When Bush responded, “Yeah, I’ve heard about it,” the constituent persisted, “Well, can you tell the people here what your family membership in that is? Isn’t your aim to take control of the United States?” (no reply from Bush)

In January 2001, New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd used Skull and Bones in a simile: “When W. met the press with his choice for attorney general, John Ashcroft, before Christmas,” Dowd wrote, “he vividly showed how important it is to him that his White House be as leak-proof as the Skull & Bones ‘tomb.”

Bush now has more power then Julius Caesar and King George III could claim, now being able to reach in to any country (including our own country and citizens) , extract, imprision and torture anyone in the name of the “war on terrorism” without due process, a war that can be held indefinitely. Republicans are not stupid and know that based on Bush’s abysmal presidential ratings would and will go down in flames unless they can rally the American public behind President Bush via another 9-11 type attack on Americans.

Roberts and other politicians are now saying “we could lose the constitution completely and be thrown into a complete police state before the next election” if we do not impeach Bush Cheney now. Roberts goes on to say: Republican intelligence reports and Michael Chertoff, himself are preparing Americans for another 9-11. Rick Santorum has recently stated that “all this American anti war ’sentimentalism’ will disappear after the next series of attacks we’re gonna experience” and of course the “national intelligence estimate” is that al-Qaida has regrouped and is stronger then ever. Sound like a setup to you?

Ratcheting up the stakes in a legal battle with Congress, President Bush on Wednesday ordered White House adviser Karl Rove and a senior political aide to refuse on grounds of executive privilege to testify before the Senate on the firings of nine U.S. attorneys.

In a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee leaders, White House counsel Fred Fielding declared that Rove, “as an immediate presidential advisor, is immune from compelled congressional testimony” about matters involving his service to the president.

While deputy White House political affairs director Scott Jennings is expected to appear before the committee Thursday, Fielding said that he, too, has been directed “not to produce any documents or to provide any testimony” covered by the privilege claim.

The decision throws a huge roadblock in the way of a seven-month-old congressional investigation and moves the confrontation between Congress and the White House closer to a constitutional showdown in the courts. The House Judiciary Committee last week voted to initiate contempt of Congress charges against White House chief of staff Joshua Bolten and Bush’s former legal counsel, Harriet Miers, who refused to appear on Bush’s orders. A former Rove aide, Sara Taylor, gave limited testimony due to a similar privilege claim.

Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, called it “a shame that this White House continues to act as if it is above the law.” “Why is the White House working so hard to hide Karl Rove’s involvement?” Leahy said in a statement Wednesday. “Mr. Rove has given reasons for the firings that have now been shown to be inaccurate after-the-fact fabrications. Yet he now refuses to tell this committee the truth about
his role in targeting well-respected U.S. attorneys for firing and in seeking to cover up his role and that of his staff in the scandal.” Jennings is of interest mainly because of his involvement in fielding complaints last year from New Mexico Republicans about the performance of that state’s U.S. attorney, David Iglesias, who later was among those
fired. Iglesias has since charged that he was fired for political reasons. Democrats are investigating whether the firings were connected to prosecutors’ corruption investigations of Republicans or refusals to bring voter-fraud cases against Democratic-leaning registration workers. The White House, which denies that the firings were retaliatory or
improper, is basing its executive privilege position on legal guidance from the Justice Department that it would violate the constitutional separation of powers to compel testimony from Rove and Jennings. The department also has maintained since 1984 that it is not bound to enforce a congressional contempt citation against an administration official who, under presidential orders, defies a congressional subpoena on grounds of
executive privilege. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and Deputy Attorney General Paul McNulty, central figures in the scandal, have recused themselves from
advising the White House on the subpoena fight. The White House released letters supporting the executive privilege claim from Solicitor General Paul Clement, who’s serving as acting attorney general in the matter, and Steve Bradbury, principal deputy assistant attorney general. Meanwhile, Gonzales on Wednesday tried to quell a furor over his testimony last week that there were no disagreements between him and then-Deputy
Attorney General James Comey in March 2004 over the administration’s secret terrorist surveillance program. Comey testified this spring that he, then-Attorney General John Ashcroft, FBI Director Robert Mueller and several other senior department officials
threatened to resign unless some warrantless spying activities were halted.

Gonzales said in a letter to Leahy on Wednesday that his “shorthand” answers to the panel to shield classified information may have created confusion. He acknowledged that there were “very serious disagreements” over other intelligence activities, but not the surveillance program in which the National Security Agency intercepted overseas phone calls. Leahy, however, dismissed Gonzales’ letter as a “legalistic explanation of
his misleading testimony” and gave him until Friday to correct the record.
