Hi Brian, I thought I might encourage you as one of the finest reporters I’ve ever viewed in these frustrating times. Your keen eye on injustice show’s you are a man of the heart.
I believe you add balance by way of critical thought.
Just to reflect, your coverage of the,’ Rat Population ‘ here in our Nation shows how government fails to walk their talk.
Does the people like Sara Palin; look at the upset of ecological balance, when either by no action, or by wrongful action; as in her bounty on wolves in ALASKA? As an eye opener, plagues from rats could come back on us in great numbers upon our GOOD NATION. To kill wolves, is to allow the rat population to grow , it even effects Alaska. The wolves are there for a reason; not for bounty or game hunting. Sara is out of touch in many ways, in my opinion. She loves hearing herself talk it seems, much like a dictator with a huge ego. Her husband must be frustrated living with such a public icon. Her main theme seems to be cluttered in attention getting, especially on any unrelated subject matter. This kind of personality discards public trust and it’s service workers; in critical thinking. Example; not understanding democracy and advocating disharmony and distrust against her fellow public service workers. Mr. Walt -Monaghan was only trying to reason within every citizen’s given RIGHTS, FREEDOM, LIBERTY, PURSUIT of HAPPINESS-the right to work without the Gov.’s wrongful use of power. That man lost his job over being a just man, in a mind of reason, in all respects.
Sara Palin is subjective minded, an spins on her emotion, no matter who she hurts…, just like John McCain III. These two will use every negative means in destroying the character of the just; Much like the same manner of the’DEVIL’; to gain position of power, just to use it wrongfully.
Insecurity is what I would label the GOP in this event, even though both parties give food for thought!
When I order something to eat out, I don’t want excuses and mud- slinging just to get a meal. So, why is the GOP trying to force feed us this type of projection? In turn, I’ll just find a better place to eat, not the one that’s been throwing food back at me with lame excuses. The GOP has no real working plan it seems, other then to offer up the same plan from times past; McCain just picked another mud-slinging partner well versed in deception!
You can share all this with the public, and you have my permission to use parts of it. At least Mr. / Sen. - Barack Obama and his running mate-Mr. / Sen. - Joe Biden wouldn’t have to care much about little Joe- remember the Cartwright’s on Bonanza in the Seventies? The Bigger Brothers like Haus, were always trying to keep little Joe out of trouble, especially in his time of need, even though Little Joe didn’t get it most of the time! Joe the Plumber really is like- Little Joe from BONANZA. This Election is BONANZA and Obama is Haus, with the White House as the Ponderosa. Ha! Ha! Ha! , ’cause we’re all in this boat together for the long haul, called AMERICA…, and as I see it, we’ve been trying to keep her afloat! HaHaHaHa- my stomach hurts HaHaHa, and it’s not really funny!

Well then, take a gander: John McCain’s Pennsylvania communications director told reporters in the state an incendiary version of the hoax story about the attack on a McCain volunteer well before the facts of the case were known or established — and even told reporters outright that the “B” carved into the victim’s cheek stood for “Barack,” according to multiple sources familiar with the discussions. John Verrilli, the news director for KDKA in Pittsburgh, told TPM Election Central that McCain’s Pennsylvania campaign communications director gave one of his reporters a detailed version of the attack that included a claim that the alleged attacker said, “You’re with the McCain campaign? I’m going to teach you a lesson.” Verrilli also told TPM that the McCain spokesperson had claimed that the “B” stood for Barack. According to Verrilli, the spokesperson also told KDKA that Sarah Palin had called the victim of the alleged attack, who has since admitted the story was a hoax. The KDKA reporter had called McCain’s campaign office for details after seeing the story — sans details — teased on Drudge. The McCain spokesperson’s claims — which came in the midst of extraordinary and heated conversations late yesterday between the McCain campaign, local TV stations, and the Obama camp, as the early version of the story rocketed around the political world — is significant because it reveals a McCain official pushing a version of the story that was far more explosive than the available or confirmed facts permitted at the time. The claims to KDKA from the McCain campaign were included in an early story that ran late yesterday on KDKA’s Web site. The McCain campaign is over. Period. I don’t care what the explanation is, a leader does not pour gasoline on a racial fire for any reason. A leader’s first concern would be how to best deal with the crisis and how to best help the victim, while minimizing the anger in both the white and black communities. A leader does not rape a nation for a score. John McCain is not a leader. He is an opportunist, at best. Oh, and Drudge should finally be flushed from the inter-tubes. His 15 minutes of blue-dress fame should have ended years ago. You don’t run a story this potentially damaging to the community without doing actual checking of the facts. You don’t publish this rubbish unless you are a paid propagandist, which of course we know Drudge is.

I am in Vegas (more on that later) and the freaks on the McCain campaign win hands down with the stuff I have seen here in the last 48 hours. As you likely now know, a white woman working on the McCain campaign claimed to have been attacked, beaten, cut for politically motivated reasons by a black man. The only problem, is that girlfriend seems to have made-the-whole thing up. Which begs the question: why? Imagine too if this “values voter” managed to pin the made-up crime on some poor black guy in a line-up? Again, what prompted such a horrible and racist act? What motivated this woman?

Do me a favor, will you guys, tell the Minority Report what you think about their censorship!Will Ya’! Is it me, or is there some control issues with the GOP affiliate’s and their censorship of free equitable speech!

I am a father of nine children, four grandchildren, and four out of our nine children are currently at home going to school/ elementary , middleschool and highschool. I do not run my life through my children- I believe them to be intelligent and full of self discovery as long as they don’t drop below a “C” average.Ha Ha …, My granchildren call me “PAPPY”. None of my family smokes tobacco. As my wife and I don’t.
My wife works for the local school system as a preschool teachers helper and is a Director The After School Program; in addition, she fills in as a part-time daycare worker during the summer. In her personal life, she is the praise and worship leader/ musician in our church. I tag along as her guitarist from time to time, even though I play out in secular engagements as well. Together, we weathered the storms of life and have picked ourselves up to become stronger.

As a veteran, I believe to- S.O.L.U.T.E. our freedom, pursuit of happiness, civil and human rights of all Americans/ Race, Creed, and Color.

I’ve wathched our country go up in dowm in politics as well as our job markets. I’m affected as a construction worker primarily in the Drywall Finishing aspect of construction. New construction is dictated by economics, as Remodeling construction markets seem more lucrative as a viable market and means in low economic times!
Why are we giving our jobs away to other countries? Who’s in charge here; the people or the government? Why have our Elected Officials allow no restraints on Wall Street creating a runaway inflated market? Our elected officials are suppose to help us maintain a prosperous way of life- that’s why we vote for leaders/ to serve and protect us; both- Foriegn and Domestic/America!

Ask Dr. LARRY BATES / ECONOMIST c/o SID ROTH about the real story of Wall Street and who makes the decision on our American wy of life. You’ll be surprised- to know!
Simply put, we need ACCOUNTABILITY in all phases of government. We need to be informed, not as to stir up panic, but- to prepare us for debilatating economies and markets. Wars are exspensive, both; in battle and in reconstruction of countries affected by war. So, careful intervention in negotiations should be the first reasoning to postpone any act of war- hopefully to adjust to a treaty or compromise in favorable postures; i.e. calm the agression!

All us VETERANS have come a long way in our hopes and dreams…, I’m just a lightweight compared to most veterans in time of war. Capt. Shaw was O.M. Officer and my Pilot- he witnessed a near bullseye that just glazed the tip of my right ear on a right angle bank near the LZ/DMZ where North and South KOREA meet! I thought it was a bird wizzin’ by me as the suction startled the hell out of me! Capt. Shaw said, ( you better check that ear, it’s bleeding profusely…, and all I did was make movement by taking off my headset to readjust it! It must have been a tracer round- the tip of my ear has never healed and keeps scabbing over! I was in a Special Po’Tac unit Detached from the 239th Asslt Hel. Co, Camp Stanley. I played music in a small combo with John Anderson and Kris Kribbs also from the same unit. We did well at the Camp Long Battle of The Bands 1971. We also played the N.C.O’s and Officer’s Lounge there at Camp Stanley.
I had the previledge of meeting many TDY and DEROS Vietnam Veterans needing a break from all the pressures of war, Larry Kellum was one of those Vet’s, always a smile and always with a girl for company! Us Veterans support one another, but, to betray our trust would be a agro’ move on anyones part- especially one of us Veterans. I do not consider a collaborator with our enemies a Veteran at all, to betray our brothers and sisters in arms, is to commit high treason. Anyone that gives away our location, size of troops, war plans and missions- has just copromized our trust, thus killing their own and allies!
