If you kill people too fast it just might defeat the purpose of being “stealthy” about the virus and it certainly would cause panic if it killed too quickly. How un-natural that would look eh?
How quickly it kills isn’t a factor at all…

Flaws in this theory
1. The computing power necessary to deliberately engineer a virus of that complexity did not exist until the late 80′s
2. Due to the nature of the cell entry mechanism traditional vaccination is ineffective
3.Over 30 years and this ‘bioweapon’ has managed to infect less than 1% of the worlds population (worst WMD ever). Influenza strains have killed more people in that time.
