How George Bush “supports our troops”

“The “support” of our troops has been wielded over us like a sword of Damocles by the current Administration. It has been used to garner support for not our troops but rather the war. I will not and cannot support any war. How then can one who completely disagrees with war “support our troops”? It is not really possible. For any change to happen we have to look past this truly empty political rhetoric and find the heart of the issue. I “support” our troops in that I want them all brought home, alive and unharmed, now! Why is that such a difficult concept for “patriotic” Americans to understand? Forget the political rhetoric and bring our troops home now.”
